TRANSPARENCY
Affiliate Disclosure
Sunday League Survival Kit is free to read because some links on this site are affiliate links. This page explains how that works, what it means for you, and how I keep my recommendations independent.

01
Same price for you
Buying through my link never costs you a cent extra. The shop pays the commission, not you.
02
Commission, not sponsorship
No brand pays to be featured. I only earn a small percentage when someone buys after clicking.
03
Independent picks
Products are chosen on price, quality and real player reviews. A commission never decides what I recommend.
HOW IT WORKS
How this site earns money
When you click a product link and buy something within a set period, the shop registers that your visit came from this site and pays me a small commission. This is called affiliate marketing, and it is how many independent review sites cover the costs of hosting, tools and research.
Commission rates depend on the shop and the product category and are usually a few percent of the price, excluding VAT and shipping. On a €10 cold pack, that comes down to a few cents. It adds up over time, but it is never a reason to recommend something you do not need.

SPOT THE LINK
How to recognise an affiliate link
I want you to always know when a link can earn me money. Affiliate links on this site are:
- Green product buttons such as “View on Bol.com”
- Product names in comparison tables that link to a shop
- Links inside “My pick” product cards
Links to other articles on this site, or to sources such as VeiligheidNL, are never affiliate links. Every article that contains affiliate links includes a short notice near the end of the page.

MY PROMISE
My editorial principles
Five rules every recommendation on this site has to pass.
- I only recommend products that solve a real problem for amateur players.
- I compare price, ease of use and reviews from other buyers before choosing a pick.
- If a free solution works just as well, like a cold shower instead of an ice bath, I say so.
- I mention downsides, even if that means fewer clicks.
- Paid collaborations, if they ever happen, are always clearly labelled as advertising.
PARTNERS
Partners, cookies and your privacy
My main partner is the Bol.com Partner Programme. I may also link to other Dutch or European shops when they offer a better price or a product that Bol.com does not sell.
| Partner | Programme | Tracking |
|---|---|---|
| Bol.com | Bol.com Partner Programme | Cookie for 5 days after your click |
| Other shops | The shop’s own affiliate programme | According to the shop’s terms |
When you click an affiliate link, the shop uses a cookie on its own website to register that you came from this site. You can read more about this in the privacy policy of the shop and in the Privacy Policy of this website.

The rules I follow: in the Netherlands, advertising must always be recognisable as advertising. This site follows the Dutch Advertising Code (Reclame Code), including the rules for social media and influencer marketing. That is why affiliate content is clearly marked, both on this website and on social media, where I use #ad or “affiliate link”.
