Why this blog exists
Written by a player, not a brand
I played Sunday league for years until an injury I kept ignoring made me stop. Nobody had told me how to look after my body, and most advice online was written for professionals with a physio on call.
So every guide here is written for the player I was: someone with a job, a family and one match a week.
How I choose what I recommend
Three rules behind every pick
1
It fits a normal budget
Most of my picks cost between €10 and €40. If something costs more, I explain why it is worth it, or I tell you to skip it.
2
It solves a real problem
I start from the pain, not from the product. A knee sleeve for a niggle, a cold pack for swelling, tape for one match.
3
I tell you the limits
No product fixes a real injury. Every guide says when to stop buying gear and see a physio or GP instead.
Good to know
Questions players ask me
Is this medical advice?
No. I am a player, not a doctor. My guides help you understand what is normal and what is not, but if the pain is sharp, swollen or still there after a few days, see a physio or your GP.
How do you earn money with this blog?
Some links go to Bol.com. If you buy something through them, I get a small commission and you pay the same price. You can read everything about it on my Affiliate Disclosure page.
How often do new guides come out?
A new tip goes out every Monday on Instagram and Facebook, and a longer guide appears here every couple of weeks.
